Present Day at Pleasant Plains Workshop

Present Day, the holiday shop at my friend Kristina’s Pleasant Plains Workshop in DC, opened last weekend.  I stopped by post-brunch to check it out and the place was packed with shoppers and with fun gift options, like tote bags, prints, shirts, jewelry, locally printed magazines and more.

Goooooo….Collaboration!

I’m pretty sure DC Cheer was the hit of the DC Week closing party on Friday as we cheered for art, technology, and collaboration in DC.  We at least livened up the dance floor all night.  Some photos by official team photographer E. Brady Robinson:

Galaxy of Images

Do you know about the Smithsonian’s online Galaxy of Images?
It’s a huge archive of photos from their collection of books and manuscripts.  You can find beetles, botanical drawings, and historical maps.  The advertisements section is great.

Handmade Arcade in Pittsburgh

[ November 12, 2011; 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. ]

I head north Saturday, November 12 to sell my wares with my friend Julia of Orange Tabby Press at Handmade Arcade, Pittsburgh’s largest indie craft fair.

The fair runs from 11am to 7pm at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center Downtown. Yinz come by!
