Mt. Pleasant Festival was Great!

Thanks to everyone who visited my booth at Mt. Pleasant Fest! I saw lots of buddies and met a lot of great new people. The day was a big success for me and Patty, and we had a lot of fun (despite the overwhelming heat). The food was amazing (egg rolls, ice cream, and mangoes for me). We were the only book artists there!

I really liked the booth for Radio CPR (community powered radio at 97.5), who are trying to form a community cultural space in Mt. Pleasant. I’d love to teach book arts classes there!

A highlight was the visit we got from Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Libary, who were just a few booths away. The care they took handling our books was really cute.
